Photonis ECHO BNVD-SGC | White Phosphor | Hand Select
In Stock Ready to ship
The NVD BNVD-SGC Night Vision Binocular is lightweight, rugged, and packed with features. Features high-performance Gen-3 autogated image intensifier tubes
Spec Key
- SNR = Signal to noise ratio
- RES = Resolution (lp/mm)
- EBI = Equivalent Background Illumination (Multiply by 10 to compare to Elbit/L3 values)
- LG = Luminous Gain (Multiply by 3.14 to compare to Elbit/L3 values)
- PS = Photocathode Sensitivity
Adjustable Gain
The BNVD-SGC operates with a single control knob that controls power and the gain both eyepieces simultaneously. Depending upon the amount of ambient light, the user can adjust the tube brightness (gain) lower to compensate for overly bright conditions or to increase the gain under extreme dark conditions.
Articulating with auto-shutoff
The BNVD-SGC can be used as a monocular by choosing which side you want to use as your night vision eye and rotate the other side/arm of the binocular up and out of the way. This enhanced capability allows the user to rotate either monocular channel away from their eye while leaving the other monocular channel in place. This provides the operational flexibility to use the BNVD-SGC as either a dual-eye or single-eye device. When used as a monocular, the user can operate the BNVD-SGC with weapon-mounted sighting equipment or thermal imaging device without sacrificing night-time situational awareness.
Durable and Lightweight
Designed for durability, constructed with Carbon-Filled Molded ULTEM. Meets ALL MIL STD 810 Environmental QA Testing Standards, MIL-PRF-49324 (CR), and MIL-PRF49427 (CR). While still lighter than the AN/PVS-7 single tube goggle
Photonis ECHO Image Intesifier Tube
Improved performance over other Gen 2+ image intensifier tubes. Ultra-fast autogating makes it well-suited for urban or mixed-lighting environments, with low halo and superior highlight resolution
