The DTNVS binocular has a full feature set that includes both individual sideways ON/OFF for each eyepiece and Flip-Up ON/OFF capabilities when folded up preventing backsplash on the helmet. To enhance the DTNVS features it incorporates built-in IR LED for close quarter operations with separate IR-ON indicators and low battery indicators in the field of view.

Adjustable Gain 

The DTNVS-MG operates with a single gain control knob that controls both eyepieces simultaneously and also controls system power. Depending upon the amount of ambient light, the user can adjust the tube brightness (gain) lower to compensate for overly bright conditions or to increase the gain under extreme dark conditions. 

Articulating with auto-shutoff

The DTNVS-MG can be used as a monocular by choosing which side you want to use as your night vision eye and rotate the other side/arm of the binocular up and out of the way. This enhanced capability allows the user to rotate either monocular channel away from their eye while leaving the other monocular channel in place. This provides the operational flexibility to use the DTNVS-MG as either a dual-eye or single-eye device. When used as a monocular, the user can operate the DTNVS-MG with an optic or thermal imaging device without sacrificing night-time situational awareness.

L3 Harris Unfilmed Supergain Image Intensifier Tube

L3 Harris 22UMH/24UAH mil-spec, Gen 3, high gain, unfilmed, white phosphor, autogated Image Intensifier tube. Provides improved contrast and the highest low-light performance with almost doubled the gain compared to standard Gen-3 tubes
